Edit your site with the ease of a WYSIWYG (Microsoft-Word-like) editor. What You See Is What You Get. If you're reading this webpage right now, you have enough skill to edit your website. Click 'Save' and it writes all the HTML for you and publishes it live. |
Add/Subtract Pages Easily
With a few clicks of a mouse, you can add pages as you grow (and you will). Want another page for instructor bios? No problem. New photo gallery? Easy as pie. Need a new calendar event or class? Just do it. You get the idea. You're not locked into a per page fee. The website will grow with you. |
Custom Email Accounts
You'll get unlimited "YOU@YOURDOMAINAME.COM" email addresses for each of your instructors or team members. It's all done by GMail from Google. Plus, you can update it anywhere in the world, that has an internet connection, on Google's site or your own. |
Personal Email Address
Your site will go to your own "YOURWEBADDRESS.COM" address. If you don't already have a domain name, I'll show you where to get one for $10/yr. You want to register this yourself so YOU own it and not the Real Deal Team. |
Detailed Visitor Reports
Receive detailed reports on who is visiting your site, where they come from, how long they were there, where they left, and stuff like that. |
Everyone Can Edit
Set up user accounts for people in your studio, on your team, or just you. For example, if you wanted your jazz teacher to handle putting all her classes on the web while you have your tap teacher do hers, it's easy to accomplish. Have someone just manage a section of the site to take the load off you. |
Calendar for Your Classes & Events
We have 2 calendar styles depending on what you want. The first one is a traditional grid format that has class & event listings. The second one is a more simple listing of dates/descriptions. This second one is suited to teachers who don't have a ton of events to fill up a grid calendar but still need to look like they're active. Usually it's for individuals and not studios. Either way, the calendar is customizable to your site design and will match seamlessly. Click here to see an entry screen example. The secret is that we're using GoogleCalendar to drive the whole thing. Three reasons why we use GoogleCalendar:
You can do things like schedule a salsa class every other Tuesday at 6 pm with a few simple clicks. It's brought onto your site automatically. You get some search engine optimization love from it. Autoresponder and/or eNewsletter Ready
Your students, potential students, and fans want to hear from you. In fact, a newsletter is a GREAT way to keep a relationship going. They'll be able to subscribe and unsubscribe to your mailing list easily from your website. Set up an auto-responder to contact people and start a dialogue with them even when you're teaching a class. Get your site working for you. |
Photo Gallery
Let's face it, people love to look at pictures but we know it can be a bit of a pain to get them all uploaded, resized, organized by event, and displaying properly. This is as simple as drag-n-drop from your desktop to your site and it does the rest. Your users see thumbnails, can click to see larger versions, play a slidehow, or drag around the page. They'll keep coming back to your site, show their friends, and you'll get more new students. See Screenshots:

Contact Form
You'll have a dedicated 'Contact Me' form on your site. It has error checking to make sure you get good data. You can require as many pieces of info as you want, ie first name, last name, phone, email, comment, etc. Any way you want it! Their contact info may then be emailed to as many email addresses as you want (you, your studio manager, your receptionist, etc). |
Anti-Spam Emails
If you put your email address on the website for people to contact you (like this: info@RealDealDanceWebsites.com), you'll get spam bots cruising by harvesting your email, selling it, and pretty soon you have tons of junk in your Inbox. The trouble is, you NEED an easy way for people to contact you. Your site will AUTOMATICALLY recognize that you put an email on the site and scramble it in the underlying code. What this means is that it'll will appear like a normal email address to your users, but underneath the spambots won't be able to get it. |

Over the Shoulder Video Tutorials
If you get lost or forget how to accomplish something with the website, there are over-the-shoulder video tutorials right in your admin area. Choose your video, it will load up, and you'll hear and see me talk/show you through the whole thing. No panicking necessary. |
