Learning A Language: A Step Onto Unity
"A person cannot not communicate." This is a saying that goes without fail. Interaction is a basic part of our human lives; we reach out to people by any means necessary. It doesn't matter if it's verbal or non verbal though because whatever we do is a way of communicating not only with other people but with ourselves. Then again, learning a language would often mean that it has to be verbal, wouldn't it?
For every generation that has surfaced the threat of chaos and discord plagues their minds. Race and social status were often the ones pinpointed as the main cause, but don't you think that there's a better cause? Everyone is created equally after all. Being black or being white, even being yellow shouldn't be the case, let alone the social strata that some people are so hung up on. Although placed differently, but still evidently the same, humanity should learn to get along. You think barrier language could be the cause?
Finding out good ways to reach out to people is the core of learning a language. This also includes the not so literal sense. Still, being able to understand someone when they're talking is a good thing, but understanding someone beyond their thoughts is the essence of it all. Being able to speak the tongue will allow you to understand each other, yes but being able to gain a full understanding of what really goes on in their heads is the real meaning of breaching the language itself. Of course before going to the wider aspect of things, learning the hoops should be considered first.
One doesn't need a reason to learn a language, it's simply necessary for people to know it in order for them to understand each other. It helps in making us realize our good points and our faults. It also helps us see the good in others and understand why there's a down side to them too. If we are adept in their own fields, then there's nothing to stop us from being friends with anyone. Letting us delve into people's lives is part of language's purpose. Just by speaking to them, we can comfort them. By getting to know them better, we learn to understand what they are and most importantly who they really are despite the misunderstandings. In turn, they also see us in a way where respect is formed and even they don't mind seeing our ways.
Although learning a language can be tedious, it's very promising. Starting with what we can accomplish would be a good way to realize our goal. It can be a pretty long walk, but the outcome is usually very agreeable. And by the end of it all, surely we'll be able to live a peaceful life with one another.
When it comes to learning a language, us humans are the reigning masters. And, there are instances where we cannot understand one another.
